Name after Queen Tiy; the ancient Egyptian queen who was the favoured wife of king Amenhoteb III and was a great support to his reign. She had considerable prominence in the state affairs and in public ceremonies. The earrings feature a modern depiction of the symbol of the snake in Egyptian hieroglyphics, which symbolized protection. The earrings are masterfully handcrafted from sterling silver base with 18k electroplating of yellow gold.
